Position: Software Quality Technician
Role:Primary responsibility is testing software applications, but will also support all areas of the software lifecycle: requirements, analysis, construction, testing, packaging, and support.
Primary Job Functions:
- Performs manual software testing.
- Analyzes testing results
- Creates test cases
- Records and reports issues
- Collaborates with development team to ensure a high quality product.
- Reviews functional specifications and design documents.
- Must be highly productive and self-motivated, be able to identify appropriate and necessary tasks, implement effective solutions, and solve problems without supervision.
- Must be able to work in a team environment. Must be able to present ideas and accept feedback. Must be willing to explore ideas and concepts presented by team members and provide constructive feedback.
- Associates Degree in Information Technology or related experience preferred.
