Executive Team Member: Greg Smith
Title: Managing Director Legal & Contracts
As Managing Director for Legal and Contracts, Greg is responsible for negotiating and writing the company’s software licenses and support agreements and contracts, and for sales price quotes and Statements of Work. His department manages and coordinates the company’s legal activities including trademarks, copyrights, IP agreements, source code escrow, partnership agreements, and NDAs. The department also manages the company’s purchasing operation as well as accounts receivables/payable.
Greg received his B.S. in Business from North Carolina Wesleyan. He is a Licensed and Certified Purchasing Manager.
Greg has over 30 years of experience in software and hardware contracting, legal management, materials management and sourcing, quality assurance, facilities management, and production control. He has been employed by TEDS for over 8 years.
Prior to joining the TEDS Management Team, Greg was employed by Premier, Inc., of Charlotte, N.C., focusing on IT contracting. His employment history includes Nortel RTP, Blue Cross - Blue Shield, and ABC Publishing in North Carolina and Illinois, and Endicott Forging and Manufacturing in New York.
