The Southwestern Virginia Technology Council held its annual High Tech Award Ceremony on Thursday, May 24th, at the Southwestern Virginia Higher Ed Center on the campus of VHCC. The awards ceremony is hosted by Southwestern Virginia’s Technology Council (SWVTC) and recognizes technological achievements in five business categories: E-Commerce, Education, Government, Innovation and Small Business and Entrepreneur. TEDS received the High Tech Small Business Award which honors small businesses that have demonstrated outstanding success in the development of technology-based, commercial enterprises.
The award was presented by Aneesh Chopra, Secretary of Technology for the Commonwealth of Virginia, and Hugh Taylor, President of Northrop Grumman Information Technology and members of the SWVTC Board of Directors.
